Dr. Butler officially joined the STAR team on September 7, 2021. Dr. Butler brings to STAR over 17 years of experience in Workforce Development. Students and supporters of STAR are familiar with our organization's goals to empower adults to hope, believe, grow, and succeed. Our mission and student outcomes have enabled STAR to attract talented and dedicated staff, volunteers, and board members, including our Executive Director (ED), Kyajuana Gilbert. During her tenure as an ED, she has elevated the STAR organization and programs.
