The STAR Foundation of Coastal Georgia will officially usher in the 2021 summer season with its inaugural pre-holiday weekend Low Country Boil fundraiser, STARgazing, on Thursday, May 27th from 5:30 – 8:30 pm at Village Creek Landing. The evening of coastal, casual fun will feature music by Owen Plant, a low country boil and appetizers by Halyards, and a not-to-be-missed “Crazy Pants” contest for gentlemen guests, one of whom will be crowned STAR’s Crazy Pants Shrimp King. “Like all charities, STAR missed holding its 2020 fall fundraiser last year due to the pandemic. These actions may include supporting fundraising initiatives, helping build partnerships in the community, or volunteering their talents and experience in various other ways that help STAR's staff focus on their number one priority- the students. It may be a teacher, a mentor, or maybe someone as a role model who could show them a vision.
